The multi-level restaurant space at 41 West 57th Street, formerly home to Shelly’s Big City, has been leased to Moscow’s famed Café Pushkin.

The opulent restaurant, built as a recreation of a 19th century aristocratic residence, is the power lunch spot of choice for oligarchs, visiting politicians, and tourists. Café Pushkin’s owners have other elaborate restaurants in Moscow and Paris.

Although deal terms were not disclosed, the asking rent for the 7,200 s/f triplex space — with 2,500 s/f on the ground, 2,500 s/f on the lower level, and a 1,200 s/f mezzanine, was $1,000,000 a year.
JDF Realty brokers Leslie Siben and Benjamin Kahr represented the tenant. CHRISTOPHER OWLES and STEVEN RAPPAPORT of Sinvin Real Estate represented the landlord, Kamran Hakim.
