New Bleeker boutique

Celebrity eyewear designer, Selima Salaun, has leased 500 s/f of ground-level retail space at 357 Bleecker Street between Charles Street and West 10th Street for Selima Optique, her ninth New York eyewear boutique.

Salaun expects to take possession of the space from its current occupant, Hudson Papers, in September, and to open by the end of the year.
Christopher Owles, managing director, Sinvin Realty Corp., represented the tenant in the transaction. Velvet Abashian of Avian Village Realty represented the landlord. Terms of the 10-year lease are not being disclosed.

“Selima Optique’s space is toward the south end of Bleeker Street’s high fashion mecca,” says Owles. “Her designs are a perfect match for this affluent yet bohemian Village location.”
