Retail Leasing Agent

Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced retail leasing real estate broker.

The successful candidate will represent both landlords and retail tenants in some of the most exciting and prominent retail deals in Manhattan.  Work with the market leaders who have a proven track record of transactions, ranging from launches of emerging brands to the expansion of established labels. Represent retail property in some of Manhattan’s most prestigious shopping corridors including SoHo and Madison Avenue.  Manage, execute and close prestigious deals.

Our mentoring and training of brokers is designed to showcase all facets of commercial real estate. Working with driven and competitive brokers will enable you to prosper. Opportunity for hands-on involvement in all deal negotiations and client meetings.

Responsibilities

  • Market assets to attract the most desirable tenants
  • Research, canvass and contact prospects
  • Advise clients during property acquisition, redevelopment and leasing retail space
  • Negotiate and finalize lease terms
  • Maximize property values and returns
  • Evaluate local markets, trends and demographics to identify best retail properties
  • Financial analysis and lease modeling for both tenants and landlords
  • Customize strategies for tenant expansion

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree preferred
  • Demonstrated abilities in sales/marketing
  • Must have a current and valid New York Real Estate Salesperson license
  • Ability to navigate the city and conduct multiple real estate showings on a given day
  • Must be self-motivated, sales-driven and thrive in a dynamic commission-based entrepreneurial business
  • Previous experience in real estate leasing is not a prerequisite but is preferred
