Overview
Sinvin is looking for a general intern to assist the firm’s brokers and principals in the execution of some of Manhattan’s most prestigious and exciting retail and office leasing transactions. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, highly motivated, and possess exceptional communication skills. The candidate will have a passion for New York City commercial real estate, the business of retail, and global businesses’ need for office presence in Manhattan.
Responsibilities
- Source, research and analyze office and retail leasing market activity and data
- Identify tenant prospects by category, region and industry
- Follow and summarize industry and market news
- Update databases
- Aid senior brokers in the execution of daily tasks
- Respond to day-to-day requests, providing information and advice and ensuring that issues are properly addressed
- Assist with preparing property tour reports and accompanying brokers on site visits
Qualifications
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Must be a self-starter with tremendous entrepreneurial spirit
- Must be analytical and a creative problem solver
- Must be reliable and efficient
- Must have strong PC skills (Microsoft Office) and be able to quickly master industry data products
