Sarah Shannon joined Sinvin in 2009, and specializes in retail leasing and advisory services for tenants and landlords.
During her 15-plus years in the commercial real estate business, Sarah has completed leasing transactions on behalf of many fashion, beauty, and furniture brands, including Morgane Le Fay, Le Labo, Aesop, Alton Lane, Sass & Bide, Timberland, Henrybuilt, Lazzoni, The Future Perfect, and Christian Liaigre. In addition to working with established retailers, Sarah has had a strong track record of advising brands on their first retail store locations. She represented Minneapolis-based Blu Dot on their debut flagship, which was at 140 Wooster Street in Soho, and then brokered the deal for their much larger 17,000 square foot store at 79 Madison Avenue in NoMad a decade later. She advised London-based maternity brand Seraphine on their entrance into the U.S. retail market culminating in a successful store launch at 464 West Broadway in Soho, followed by a second store at 1321 Madison Avenue on the Upper East Side.
On the landlord side, Sarah has extensive experience representing real estate ownership structures ranging from co-ops and single-property owners to prominent landlords, such as RFR, SL Green Realty Corp., Centaur Properties, Centurion Realty, LLC, Continental Ventures, Comjem Associates, Crown Properties, and Alchemy Properties.
Sarah has a B.A. in English from the University of Chicago, an M.A. in English from The University of Virginia, and an MBA from New York University’s Stern School of Business.
